IT Help Desk Support Specialist

ADVYON Business Technology, an award-winning information technology (IT) company in Summerville, SC, is looking for an IT Help Desk Support Specialist to work directly with businesses in the Charleston, SC, area. We want people passionate about customer service and technology to add to our growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls, emails, and tickets from clients and addressing their technical inquiries
  • Dispatching technical support tickets to the appropriate teams and following up on their progress
  • Setting up new computers, laptops, and other technology devices for clients
  • Assisting in the resolution of technical issues, including hardware and software problems
  • Performing general IT tasks, including software and hardware installations, troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Documenting all technical support activities and updating clients on the status of their issues
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective technical support

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical individuals
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with ticket tracking systems, remote desktop tools, and basic network troubleshooting techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • A clean record is required. ADVYON is SLED Certified and works with Law Enforcement, Local Government, Schools, and Government Contractors.

    IT Project Manager

    We are seeking a full-time project manager with experience in making customers happy and a demonstrated passion for IT. 

     Previous Experience and Considerations:

    • 5 Year Experience in IT or the Technology Field
    • Experience with an IT Managed Service Provider is a plus

      IT Technician

      ADVYON Business Technology, an award-winning information technology (IT)  company located in Summerville SC, is looking for an IT Support Specialist to work directly with businesses in the Charleston, SC area. We are looking for people who are passionate about customer service as well as technology to add to our growing team.

      The IT support specialist is a generalist position devoted to all aspects of computer set-up, installation, troubleshooting, service, upgrades, and maintenance. The position includes connecting computers to each other or the rest of the network; printing, both locally and on the network; and auxiliary devices such as tablets, PDAs, and smartphones. All job duties can be performed remotely from a central location, in the customer’s work environment, or in a combination of the two. The position may require some physical activity such as lifting and moving computer equipment into place or crawling in tight spaces.

      Requirements:

      • Interest or experience in working with various kinds of hardware and software
      • Comfortable working directly with the customer, offering advice, training, solutions, and guidance.
      • Must possess outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
      • Positive Attitude and Great Soft Skills
      • Ability to learn and adapt quickly

        Graphic Design And Marketing Assistant

        The Marketing Assistant at ADVYON will be responsible for daily operations and workflow in the marketing department. The Marketing Assistant will be in charge of various tasks to ensure project deadlines and client needs are met.

        You will be responsible for setting up and managing various ad campaigns for clients, managing small website updates in the WordPress platform, creating emails and landing pages using templates, answering support tickets, and other various marketing tasks.You’ll also be in charge of developing monthly reports for clients that detail their overall performance. You will communicate with the clients directly about these reports, including some in-person meetings as needed. 

        Key Requirements:

        • Ability to think creatively, and to identify and resolve problems
        • Interaction with clients via email and in person
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
        • Ability to work within a team and independently
        • Familiarization with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other analytics tools
        • Experience with website optimization tools
        • A basic design eye, in regards to general page layout
        • A basic understanding of HTML and CSS (or ability to learn quickly)
        • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
        • Ability to take constructive criticism

          Under a unified brand and communications strategy, the Content Creation Specialist will plan, produce and publish content that promotes ADVYON and their clients on digital and social media platforms, as well as blogs, podcasts, and website content. 

          Responsibilities and Duties:

          Creating and editing strategic, clear, creative, and clean SEO-driven content for multiple client demographics

          Ability to interview clients for content needs for website development

          Planning and posting original, engaging branded content across all social media channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.

          Maintain content, monitor performance, and help develop advertising strategies on digital media accounts, primarily Google. Produce reports on analytics across all social and digital platforms.

          Checking social and digital accounts daily for alerts and mentions, responding accordingly. 

          Knowledge and skill of photography for social media channels and digital platforms

          Key Requirements:

          • Prior experience in content marketing and content development
          • Outstanding ability to think creatively, and to identify and resolve problems
          • Frequent interaction with clients via email and in-person
          • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
          • Ability to work within a team and independently
