Building Eleven eWall: Brand Identity and Website Design for the Harbor Entrepreneur Center
4 Min ReadWhat Is Eleven eWall and Who Built It
Eleven eWall is the brand identity and website ADVYON created for the Harbor Entrepreneur Center, a nonprofit coworking and business collaboration space serving entrepreneurs in the Charleston tricounty area. The site is live, but the project itself began long before anyone designed a single webpage. It started with the brand.
Every building has a personality, and the hard part is translating that personality onto a screen without losing what makes it feel real. That challenge shaped every decision we made, starting with the logo and ending with the calendar.

Why We Started With the Brand, Not the Website
The Harbor Entrepreneur Center is not a typical nonprofit, and it is not a typical coworking space either. It is a place built for collision, in the best sense of the word. Entrepreneurs walk in with an idea, a question, or a half-formed plan, and they walk out having bumped into a mentor, a partner, or the missing piece of their business model.
That kind of energy is hard to capture with a generic template, and it is impossible to capture if the brand identity is not settled first. Before writing a single line of website code, our team asked a simple question: what does this building actually stand for? The answer became our creative brief, and it needed a name and a mark before it could become a site: growth, collaboration, and approachability, a space where serious business gets done without losing its human feel.
How ADVYON Built the Eleven eWall Logo and Brand Identity
The project began with the Eleven eWall logo, designed from scratch, along with a full branding kit that the client now uses across signage, print materials, social media, and event promotion.
Designing the logo was one of the most enjoyable parts of the project, and it needed to do something specific: capture both the elegance and the fun of the Harbor itself. The Harbor is a professional business hub, but it is also a place where creativity and community collide, and the logo had to hold both of those truths at once. We worked through concepts that reflected the building’s personality without tipping into anything too corporate or too casual, landing on a mark that feels polished enough for a boardroom and approachable enough for a networking mixer.
The branding kit extends that same thinking beyond the logo itself, establishing the color palette, typography, and visual tone that every other element of the project would follow. A strong brand identity is not just a logo file. It is a toolkit that keeps every touchpoint, from a social post to a printed flyer, instantly recognizable and aligned with the organization’s mission. That toolkit became the foundation for everything that came next.

How Custom Icons and Real Photography Bring the Brand to Life
With the brand identity established, the next step was building out visual elements that matched it and reflected the actual character of the space. Websites for community and nonprofit spaces often default to stock photography and generic layouts. We took the opposite approach with Eleven eWall.
Every photo on the site shows the actual Harbor Entrepreneur Center and the real people who work, meet, and network there. There is no stock photography anywhere on the site. Visitors see the actual space and the actual community, which builds an immediate sense of trust and belonging before a person ever walks through the door.
Alongside that authentic photography, we designed custom illustrated icons, including hand-drawn bamboo stalks and a hand-sketched map of the building, that extend the branding kit into fun, playful details throughout the site. Bamboo grows in clusters, close together, supporting one another as they rise, which mirrors a community built around shared growth. The hand-drawn map gives visitors a sense of place before they ever step through the door, turning a physical building into something personal and explorable online. Together, the real photography and the illustrated elements give the site a layered feel, part real and part imagined, that mirrors how the space itself functions as both a working office and a creative gathering point.

How the Website Design Brings It All Together
Once the brand, the icons, and the photography were in place, the final step was building the website itself around two functional goals that mattered most to the Harbor Entrepreneur Center: making rental options easy to find and giving the community an events calendar that actually keeps pace with everything happening inside the building.
Finding Rental Options
Whether a visitor is looking to book a private office, reserve a meeting room, or explore membership options, that path needed to be short and obvious. We structured the site navigation so visitors are never more than a click or two away from understanding their rental options and taking the next step, whether that means requesting a tour or submitting a booking inquiry.

Browsing the Events Calendar
The Harbor Entrepreneur Center thrives on workshops, mixers, mentor sessions, and community gatherings, so the events calendar needed to function as the living heartbeat of the site. If a calendar is confusing or outdated, a building’s energy gets lost in translation. We built an events calendar interface that makes browsing upcoming programming simple, so the digital experience keeps pace with everything happening inside the physical space.

Why This Project Matters
Projects like Eleven eWall are a reminder of what good brand and web design are actually for. It is not about chasing trends or stacking on animations. It is about building a digital foundation that reflects the trust, creativity, and momentum already happening inside an organization, starting with the brand and carrying that same energy all the way through to the website.
The Harbor Entrepreneur Center exists to help entrepreneurs grow by putting them in the same room, physically and figuratively. Eleven eWall exists to do the same thing online, connecting people to the right resource, the right room, and the right opportunity as quickly and clearly as possible.
That is the kind of work we love at ADVYON. Branding, creativity, and technology are not separate departments. They work best when they are woven together into one connected experience, built to earn trust and drive real growth.
